How It Works

Some things to know about our practice: 

COVID-19 Update - In effort to keep everyone safe, we are offering virtual sessions and in-person sessions for vaccinated individuals. 

Payments: Should be made at the end of each session. We accept checks and all major credit cards. 

Insurance: We do not participate with insurance companies, meaning, we are an out- of- network practice. We will provide you with a monthly receipt for you to submit to your insurance company should you have out- of- network benefits.

 

Here are some questions to ask your insurance company to find out if you have out-of-network benefits:

  • Am I eligible for mental health insurance benefits?

  • What’s my deductible? Have I met my deductible?

  • What coverage amount do I have per therapy session?

  • Do I need a referral from my primary care physician?

  • How many sessions am I entitled to per year? Do I have unlimited sessions?

  • What is my co-pay or co-insurance?

Cancellations: Please allow 24- hour notice for cancellations to avoid full fee charge. 

Consult Call  - Let’s start with a consult: call us for a free phone consult so we can understand what your current struggles are. 
 

Initial Assessment - Next, we set up an initial assessment where we will dive deeper into your current struggles and spend some time looking at other relevant information about your life. This may include important relationships in your life, work/school life, contributing factors to current struggle and any past experiences that may have impacted your current situation. 
 

Personalized Therapy Sessions - All therapy treatment is individualized, so your treatment plan will be tailored to meet your specific needs including frequency of therapy.
