Treatments:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidenced-based therapy designed to help those suffering from anxiety and depression among other mental health struggles. CBT closely examines the connection between our thoughts, feelings and behaviors. When people are distressed, they tend to think and behave in extreme and unhelpful ways which perpetuate the negative cycle. The goal of CBT is to acknowledge and understand the connection between our thoughts, feelings and behaviors and work collaboratively on changing those patterns. For more information on CBT check out this link.

Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a highly effective cognitive-behavioral approach to mental health disorders. DBT incorporates techniques for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. DBT treats people suffering from mild to severe mental health issues such as anger management, relationship issues, substance abuse, eating disorders, self-harm, anxiety, and borderline personality disorder. The goal is to move clients away from “all or nothing” thinking and help clients accept that in life, we can only control our reactions to challenges that come our way. For more information on DBT check out this link.

Psychodynamic therapy focuses on how our past experiences influences our present behaviors. There is a focus on how our unconscious processes manifest in the way we behave and respond to others. The goal is to help clients find unhealthy patterns in their emotions, thoughts and beliefs in order to gain insight into how they currently deal with situations.

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is a targeted treatment helping those suffering from Post traumatic Stress Disorder and other trauma related symptoms. This is a time-limited treatment that works on helping you get "unstuck" in your thoughts around trauma.
